HOTEL - FAQs

How do I book a hotel room?

It's easy! One person buys a hotel room for 2, 3, or 4 people, then assigns room-mates to that hotel room.

Steps:

 

  • Register as normal for a DoggyWeekend Steel, Gold or Platinum Tag! To buy a hotel ticket you must already have a Steel, Gold or Platinum Tag. All your guests must also be registered.
     

  • Follow the link on the Hotel page to our Hotel booking options.
     

  • Select the Hotel room you want, and check out, paying for the room.
     

  • You will shortly receive an email from our hotel booking system, to complete your hotel booking. If you don't fill this in your room will be cancelled and refunded. If you don't get an email, please let us know.
     

  • You'll be sent to our hotel booking site. The first step is to claim the room you've purchased by entering the order reference of your DoggyWeekend Ticket. This is your Steel, Gold or Platinum Tag booking reference, not your hotel booking reference. Whoever is put in here becomes the room owner and can manage the booking.
     

  • Enter the email addresses of the people you want to be your room mates in the hotel room. Invites will only be sent to people who already have DoggyWeekend Steel, Gold or Platinum Tags.
     

  • Your guests will be sent an email inviting them to join your room. All they have to do is press the button and will become part of your room booking. Invites are valid for 24 hours.


When all your guests are assigned, your room is complete and you're done!

General FAQ

Do I need to be a DoggyWeekend attendee to book a hotel room?
Yes, you should already be a registered DoggyWeekend attendee before booking your hotel room.


Am I booking a whole room or a single space in a hotel room?
You are booking and paying for a whole room. After you have paid for the hotel room, you will get an email with details on how to assign all your room-mates. 


What if I want a hotel room all to myself?

In response to your feedback, you can now book a double or twin room for just one person; choose the "I'd like this room as a room to myself" option in the booking system. Triple and quad rooms still require all the spaces in the room to be filled.

Do I need to have all my room mates ready immediately when I book the hotel room?
No, you have a week to arrange your room mates, by default. If you need longer than this, please message us.


What do the individual hotel rooms include?
Please see our hotel page.


We accidentally booked two hotel rooms by mistake!
Please message us and we will cancel one for you.

Does everyone staying in the room need to be a DoggyWeekend attendee?
Yes, everyone in the room needs to be a registered DoggyWeekend attendee.


Do I need a hotel room to attend DoggyWeekend 2026?
No, the hotel is just available so you're located in the middle of all the fun!

How do I remove myself from someone else's Hotel booking?
Either ask them to remove you, or contact us.
